Alcor Took on the CRAZY Challenge of Installing Its Modular Bleachers to Create a Theater at the Grand Palais for the Play “Singin’ in the Rain”. During Its Renovation Closure, the Théâtre du Châtelet Moved into the Nave of the Grand Palais for 45 Performances.

Creating this ephemeral theater under the largest glass roof in Europe required exceptional ingenuity and impeccable expertise due to the timing and site-specific demands.

A setup featuring the following characteristics was installed thanks to our stand extensions:
- Angled stand for perfect site adaptation
- 2,404 seats across 41 rows in 3 sections (1,762 seats + 402 VIP seats with increased spacing + 240 VIP seats with foldable seating)
- First row elevated to 1.78m
- Full covering of the modular stand with black brushed cotton and red carpet
- Seat covers for all seats
- Integration of a control area
- Numbering and provision of labels
- Transparent guardrails for better visibility
- Access and clearances with 6 vomitories and 2 ramps for disabled access
