Alcor Equipment has recently commenced the construction of 11,000 seats in modular grandstands for the rehabilitation of Nouadhibou Stadium in Mauritania.

Following projects in M’bour, Senegal, Yaoundé, and Douala, Cameroon, Nouadhibou Stadium is now equipped with Alcor Equipment’s modular grandstands, enabling it to host large sporting events. Its inaugural event will be the African Under-20 Cup, which Mauritania is hosting in early 2021.

The renovation of Nouadhibou International Stadium is being carried out by the military engineering corps and specialized companies in sports infrastructure construction, including Alcor Equipment for the modular grandstands, in coordination with the Mauritanian Football Federation.

With a capacity of 11,000 seats, it will be the largest stadium in the country and compliant with international standards.
